Store Policies Your Statutory rights are not affected by any of the following store policies. Ordering Online Ordering Online with us is safe and secure. We employ a method of interaction with our visitors that does not compromise credit card information. We encourage you to feel comfortable using your credit card to conduct commerce on our site. Ordering By Post If you wish, you may also send us a Postal Order (only) or a personal cheque. Personal cheques will delay your order as we must wait for your funds to clear before we ship any merchandise. Please allow an additional 7-10 business days for shipping of your merchandise if paid by personal cheque. To order by cheque, just print the order form with your shopping cart contents from the order confirmation page and complete the necessary fields, then mail the form to the address above. Ordering By Phone If you like the human touch and wish to pay over the phone, simply call the sales order line on 0207 636 8276 and leave your contact details and we'll call you back to take your order. Return / Refund Policy Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If you are not satisfied with the goods please inform us within seven days of your receipt of the goods and provided they are returned in their original condition and packaging we will give you a full refund excluding the delivery charge. We suggest you use registered post or courier service and retain a proof of posting, Island Boutique will not accept any responsibility for returned goods lost or damaged in transit. Refunds will only be processed once the items have been collected. All returns must be made within 28 days. Your statutory rights are un-affected. Faulty goods will be replaced free of charge and your postage costs will be refunded. Delivery Time Please allow 3-5 days for delivery. Delivery and Packaging Costs Very Small items – Royal Mail First Class - £1.50 Small items up to 500g - £3.99 Medium sized goods up to 5kg - £7.99 Large items up to 10kg - £15.00 Furniture - £50.00 Multiple Items Multiple purchases will be boxed together where possible and sent to you in the most cost effective method. You will be refunded postage savings however this will not show at the checkout. We only deliver to addresses within the UK. If you wish to arrange a delivery to a non-mainland UK, please send an email to us by visiting the Contact Page and request a quotation. If an item is not currently in stock, you will be advised when you place your order or soon after. Prices Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order and are inclusive of VAT. Safety Please note that lights should always be turned off and kept away from other flammable materials. Candles and their holders present potential fire hazards and should always be extinguished after use. Please ensure that all candle holders are placed upon heat resistant surfaces. Island Boutique accept no responsibility for accidental damage or injury that arises as a result of negligence. Island Boutique expect its customers to use common sense when using any handcrafted item and to treat them with care.
